Did somebody say Calvertron? Alex Calver (Calvertron) is back with a crazy good remix for a tune called “We Don’t Play That” by Zodiac Cartel. We’d have to say this is less like a remix and more like a facelift, as the previous track’s techno vibe has absolutely been ripped to shreds by Calvertron’s smooth rhythm and devastating bass. It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything new from the guy… talk about a welcome back.

It’s time for a little classic Calvertron filth in today’s jam, “Bring The Bass Back.” Calvertron went nuts on this remake of a house anthem, and adding in a bit of Figure never hurt. We’re going back to a track that was released in early-2011 and is as smooth as silk. Get ready to crank up that amplifier because this song is FILTHY.

We wanted to introduce these tracks separately… but, hell, we just couldn’t wait! Calvertron is one of the hottest dubstep artists on the planet right now. Hailing from Bristol, Alex Calver (Calvertron) has been in the mix since 2002, but he absolutely blew up on the scene in 2008 when he unleashed his tracks on tons of top records like Ministry of Sound and Wearhouse in the duo called “Twocker.” His uniquely hard-hitting electro-house vibe, combined with copious amounts of filth, has turned dubstep on its head.

These two bangers were released very recently, and both have propelled Calvertron right into the limelight. “Future Proof” has got a crazy futuristic/glitch bass sound and is 100% original. More recently, he remixed a track by Drop Top & Figure called “We Are Warriors” that is now sitting atop the Beatport charts. Get ready for the roof to cave in when you blast these two!
