Seems like just yesterday we were complaining about how Bassnectar hasn’t released anything new… now we’ve got hot tracks dropping left and right. Following the release of his latest album (Divergent Spectrum) this Tuesday, some great stuff was put out. One of the tastiest beats in our opinion is this hardcore slammer called “Boomerang.” With one hell of a smooth beat, this thing has a kick that borders on hard rock with a bassline that cuts through in epic fashion. It’s been awhile since we’ve gotten a new track out of one of the biggest producers in dubstep, Bassnectar, but today is your lucky day as he just released an awesome single called “Upside Down.” Lorin Ashton from San Francisco has been one of the best known dubstep names for years now, and was one of the first stars to emerge from the United States. With deep driving basslines like the ones found in Upside Down, it’s really no wonder… this guy knows bass and knows how to demolish clubs with some unbelievable drops. This one is straight off of his upcoming album called Divergent Spectrum, to be released August 2nd.

Bassnectar is easily one of the top names in dubstep around the globe right now. Lorin Ashton (Bassnectar) is a freeform electronic producer from Santa Cruz, California who specializes in bringing crazy amounts of bass and energy in all his tracks. He’s also one of the oldest dubstep producers around, putting out his best since 2001. You gotta have love for this stellar remake of Ellie Goulding’s “Lights,” arguably one of Bassnectar’s finest.
