Protohype’s latest promotion, “Music Monday,” is one of our favorite things to wake up to every week. Giving out a new freebie every week, Max Pote (Protohype) has been a name on the rise in 2012 by all measures. His remix of “Cashin’ Out” with Jimmy Blythe (AFK) is a dirty trap banger with some devastatingly filthy bass riffs! The two combine the best of their sounds together for this big take on Cash Out’s hit, and this one absolutely bumps!

When we heard that Datsik played out a massive tune at EDC that was practically unknown, we needed to track it down. Well what tune was it? AFK’s latest banger called “Ripper.” Jimmy Blythe & Kyle Nuss (AFK) are two boys from Dallas who are relatively new to the dubstep scene, but absolutely killing it so far with hot tracks like this one. This thing is filthy, and a great usage of the classic modern talking bass filter (AKA “that thing that makes it go ‘yoy’”). As they put it on their Facebook, if you aren’t familiar with this sound “you’d better get familiar!”
